GCSE exams are now complete and students are expecting their results on August 25.

James attended the school ball to celebrate his fantastic achievement, held at Shirley’s Village Hotel, Solihull.

James will continue to study with the Summit Learning Trust in September, taking Chemistry, Biology and Maths at A level and aspires to practice medicine in the future.

He studied Triple Science, Maths, English Language and Literature, Sports Science, French, Geography and ER at GCSE, and took part in an online medical work experience program called medic mentorship that ran for full days every third Saturday of the month for six months. James was made aware of this opportunity through the school.

Jason Bridges, Principal of Cockshut Hill School, said: “I want to give James a heartfelt congratulations on not missing a single day of secondary school.

“By going to school every day he has given himself the best opportunity to achieve outstanding marks in his exams and we are looking forward to his results in August. I wish James all the best for the future, and I hope he really enjoyed our ball.
