Auditions for “Clue, the Musical” are scheduled for 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6 and Wednesday, September 7 at Winthrop Congregational Church, 10 Bowdoin St. in Winthrop.
Those who audition must be vaccinated with a booster in order to be considered for casting. They must bring vaccination cards to auditions for verification.
Those planning to audition should bring sheet music and be prepared to sing 16 bars of a Broadway-like song with a quick staff check; An attendant will be provided. They should be prepared to read a short monologue that will be available for each character.
The auditions will also include a short dance combo and a cold read.
Rehearsals are scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Some rehearsals will be flexible depending on the availability of actors.
The final rehearsal schedule will be available during the reading. Those who audition must list any conflicts between now and the show on their audition form.
The production will be directed by Josie French. Performances will be held at the Great Falls Performing Arts Center, 30 Academy St. in Auburn, November 11-20 at 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday.
