Biden administration aides praise Vice President Kamala Harris after unfavorable CNN report

White House advisers came to the vice president’s defense Kamala harris following a CNN report detailing the frustrations of his team and White House officials over his role.

In the item, released on Sunday, CNN spoke with nearly three dozen former and current Harris aides, administrative officials, Democratic agents, donors and outside advisers. According to the interviews, many of President Joe Biden’s entourage have expressed frustration that Harris is not adequately prepared or positioned and is instead set aside when it comes to White House rulings and legislation.

CNN added that Harris has told several of her assistants that she feels limited in what she has been able to do politically. Moreover, those around Harris are reluctant to even hint at Harris’ future political ambitions, with Biden’s team keenly aware of signs of disloyalty.

Several Biden aides came to Harris’ defense after the article was published, including the White House press secretary Jen psaki.

“For anyone who needs to hear it. @VP is not only an essential partner for @POTUS but a bold leader who has taken on key and significant challenges facing the country, from voting rights to addressing the root causes of migration to expanding broadband, ”Psaki Tweeted Sunday morning.

White House Communications Director Kate bedingfield and Chief of Staff of the White House Ron klain the two retweeted Psaki’s statement. Long Beach, California, mayor Robert garica (D) also tweeted his support for Harris.

“Our @VP Kamala Harris has just completed a very successful trip where she strengthened diplomatic relations. She takes on the most complex missions because she is competent and intelligent. She is a great leader who is also funny and kind. And that’s the tweet, ”Garcia wrote.

Several Harris officials also pushed back versus the article, including its senior advisor and chief spokesperson Symone sanders.

The Black and Female First Vice President of the United States recently took a trip to France, during which the President Emmanuel Macron had nothing but praise for Harris.

“I can tell you that the French are extremely proud to have you here,” Macron said at the start of their bilateral meeting.

Their first Meet lasted so long, the assistants tried to intervene and conclude the meeting. Macron also gave Harris a tour Elysee Palace, pointing to the office of the first modern French president, Charles de Gaulle, who had strained relations with the United States.
